Delete your Rampurhat account
You can delete your account from inside the app, or by writing to us. Here is
exactly what happens either way.
From inside the app
- Open Account.
- Choose Account privacy.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm.
It happens immediately. If you have an order still on its way, the app will
ask you to wait until it arrives or is cancelled first — a shop with a live
order needs to be able to reach you about it.
By email
Write to soumodityapramanik@gmail.com
from the address on your account, and we will delete it for you. Please write
from that address — it is how we know the request is yours.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Every delivery address you saved, including its coordinates.
- The notification token for your phone.
- Your saved shops and your wishlist.
- Any list you sent a shop.
- Your account itself, if you have never placed an order.
What is kept, and why

If you have ordered before, the record of the sale stays with the
shop — with your name, phone number and address stripped out of it.
A shop has to keep its own accounts, and we cannot remove a sale from them.
What is left is an anonymous line in their books.

Reviews you wrote stay, with your name removed from them.
They are about the shop, and other people rely on them.

Photos you uploaded for a shop or an item stay, because a
shop's listings outlive any one account. Ask us and we will remove them.
